Why did I come to O.A.? Because I was ninety pounds
overweight. I think it is more important to say why I stay in O.A.
After eleven years, I stay because I am more at peace and more happy since I
found a Higher Power. I don’t get angry as much as I used to. Most
of the time, I got angry because people were not doing what I thought they
should. Have I had a miracle? Yes, by working the first three steps
and principles; honesty, hope and faith. It is getting better every
day.
