Cleveland Central Intergroup promotes the welfare of Overeaters Anonymous (OA) and its members in Northeast Ohio. In 2008, CCI responded to telephone inquires, media information requests, provided information to health care and other professionals, kept the meeting list available and up to date, sent delegates to Region V and World Service Business Conferences, published our H2H newsletter and sponsored recovery events. The Fair Share Campaign is a chance for every OA member to make a difference.

OLMSTED FALLS SATURDAY MORNING BIG BOOK
PRESENTS – “BACK TO BASICS”
Beginning Saturday, October 2 – Saturday, October 30, 2010
10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Please join us for an intensive 5-week workshop reminiscent of the 1940’s original AA beginners’ meeting format.
In “Back to Basics” meetings, the sessions are structured. There is little idle chatter or spontaneous sharing. The two meeting leaders at the front table read from the Big Book and the Steps. When they’re finished, there is a short discussion of the practical application of the reading to attain the solution, and the meeting ends. It is open to anyone seeking to expand their spirituality with a desire to stop eating compulsively.
Here’s a brief overview of what we will cover in those weeks. (Please bring your Big Book & something to write with.):

Saturday, October 9: Steps 2, 3 and introduction to 4
Saturday, October 16: Step 4
Saturday, October 23: Steps 5-9
Saturday, October 30: Steps 10-12
