43 representatives were present to vote, total attendance 49
Trustees Report: Pam Gleason Highlights only (complete report
attached)
- World Service financial report shows a $16,000 deficit
for year ending 2000
(compared to 1999 with a $20,000 deficit.)
- World Service new computer system is up and running including
the online meeting directory. If you have changes, please contact the World
Service office or you may make the change online at: www.overeatersanonymous.org
- See attached new contribution campaign to help pay for
the computer upgrade see attached.
- The BOT approved the new Dignity of Choice
pamphlet, which will be sent to all intergroups and delegates
prior to the World Service Business Conference meeting for
Conference approval. The pamphlet will come to the conference floor
to be voted on by the delegates. If you have questions and concerns please
attend intergroup meetings.
- LIFELINE circulation ...10,707 Take the Lifeline
challenge $12.99 until May 1st then an increase to $14.99 per
year.

Finance - Assembly approved an increase in assembly registration
fee from $20 to $25 effective for July assembly

Freedom from Bondage increase from $2.50 to $5.00 per subscription to make it
self-supporting
Adding a table of contents, staff credits. Groups are encouraged to subscribe
for their meetings to
keep updated on Region V news.

How to further "Carry the Message to the Teen". Would like to have a
Region V media blitz, asking each intergroup to send media contact list for
area - on labels if possible.
12 Step Within: Norma - New Region V Tape Library booklet, make
available to your groups.

Working on We Care packet for people who are coming back from relapse, similar
to Newcomer packet.

Contacting
all unaffiliated groups in Region V to make sure the World Service website
has current information about them. Looking
at developing a guide on how Intergroups can attract involvement from their
groups.

persons per room. Sleeping rooms are blocked for Region V until 9/14/01 then
they will be subject to availability.
Convention Registration: MUST BE POSTMARKED BY 9/14/01
Pre-Registration: $65.00 includes all sessions, Saturday dinner with garden
salad bar, entertainment & dance
Registration at the Door: $60.00 includes all sessions (does not include
Saturday dinner)
